This is a roleplay blog for Ogilvy the astronomer from The War of the Worlds, both the book and Jeff Wayne rock opera, though moreso the former.

There's very little information about Ogilvy in canon besides his name, home, and career, so a lot of his characterization and backstory on this blog is based on my own interpretation of the character. He's friendly to a fault, if a little stuffy. While a skeptic (he is a scientist), he isn't unreasonable, and will come around if shown direct evidence of ghosts, aliens, or anything else paranormal.
